Imbuia Burl

Imbuia (Imbuya) burl is sometimes called Brazilian walnut due to its rich brown color. True burls are small and often inconsistent with patterns of burl and muscle. Some imbuia long wood grain has great contrast in a wavy or striped twisted pattern and is described as a burl. Large consistent logs are rare.
