Lacewood, commonly called silky oak, is noted for the strong flake pattern on the surface of the veneer. Lacewood is primarily logged in Australia but the species can be found in South America. Color will range from light pink to orange tones. Usually, the pattern of flake is rather inconsistent across the leaf and through each flitch. Leaf widths are usually less than eight inches.

Samples can be obtained by calling or emailing any of our project specialists.
