DeCrane Aerospace Aircraft Seating (DAAS) designs, tests, certifies and builds innovative and lightweight 16g and 9g aircraft seats and divans, slim leg and powered hi-lo aircraft conference tables, and precision hinges and mounting blocks for aircraft cabinets and furniture.
DASC operates from an 110,000 square-foot, vertically-integrated, and state-of-the-art facility in Peshtigo, Wisconsin, located 50 miles north of Green Bay. We maintain our own core manufacturing capabilities including sheet metal, machining, composites, welding and upholstery.
Our engineering department uses the latest design and modeling software (including PRO-E and Catia) and we employ FAA-approved Designated Engineering Representatives who conduct all certification testing. They are supported by a talented staff of program managers, service engineers and technicians. Our products are designed for safety, comfort and durability.
DASC's major OEM customers include Agusta, Bell Helicopter, Bombardier, Cessna, Dassault Falcon Jet, Embraer, Eurocopter, Gulfstream, Northrup-Grumman, Piaggio, Pilatus, Raytheon, and Sikorsky. DASC also manufactures seats for V.I.P., head-of-state, special mission, and military aircraft. DASC seats are renowned for their innovative designs, quality construction, lightweight, comfort, functionality, and ability to transfer harmful aircraft impact energy away from passengers.
