PATS Aircraft Completions offers fully integrated APU installation kits which incorporate the gas turbine engine, as well as starter/generators, alternators, regulators, fire detection, fire extinguishing, fire containment, rotor burst containment, structural attachments, air ducting and interfaces to the aircraft’s electrical, pneumatic and fuel system. For each individual aircraft type, a complete and unique design is documented, built, tested, installed and approved by the FAA in the form of a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC).
PATS holds nearly 60 STCs for installation of complex APU systems into a variety of aircraft. Each of these APU systems must interface with the aircraft’s unique electrical system, fuel system, electronics system, gauging and display systems, and structural construction. Few companies offer the level of experience found at PATS to address all of these aspects. PATS can develop APU upgrades to meet a variety of requirements on corporate or business jets, regional or commuter airlines, or OEM-integrated APU systems for future aircraft development.
