Carl F. Booth Veneers announces FSC Certification at EBACE 2010

JEFFERSONVILLE, IN (May 4, 2010) – Carl F. Booth Veneers, a division of DeCrane Aerospace, is pleased to announce receipt of Forest Stewardship Council, Chain of Custody Certification. This certification allows Carl F. Booth Veneers to provide veneer choices from well managed forests utilized in a responsible manner.

FSC is the most widely recognized managed forestry certification currently in operation. Wood products bearing this certification are verified to have been harvested in a responsible manner from managed forests under socially responsible circumstances. This ensures the use of our renewable resource for generations to come.

Carl F. Booth Veneers underwent a successful audit by the certification body Scientific Certification Systems in March and quickly received the certificate in early April. The auditor found the quality and accounting systems of Carl F. Booth Veeners to meet the highest standards making the company ideally suited to support the program.

Carl F. Booth Veneers’ new 100K square foot facility in Jeffersonville, IN is a fully capable, FSC certified (SCS-COC-003166), AS9100 compliant, plywood manufacturing facility with the capacity to support all your decorative covering needs.
